The tambourine from XDrum exclusively here!
A tambourine is a percussion instrument. It consists of a plastic frame in a half moon design and is fitted with curved metal jingles ("zils") in pairs. The tambourine was already used in Egyptian music and is used in many types of music and dances
The tambourine can be played with fingers, palms, fists or mallets whereas depending on the proximity to the frame either short, hard beats on the head or the jingles come to the fore of the sound. The tambourine is also often hit on the hips or legs while dancing.
In addition, a longer sound of the jingles can be produced just like with the jingles ring by shaking it or by moving over the drum surface with your thumb.
