Meinl received numerous requests for thinner models in the Pure Alloy series. After testing various options, the Pure Alloy Custom series includes thinner cymbals in the medium-thin range. They produce a softer attack with a warm fundamental character and decay quickly, while retaining the clear tone and sustain known from the Pure Alloy series. To set these cymbals apart, they feature a finish called Custom Smoked-Bronze on the top and a brilliant polished bottom.
