All drums in the Armory series come with SONIClear bearing edges, which make tuning significantly easier and guarantee a "wobble-free" head seating. The increased head contact area brings the shell tone more powerfully and focused to the forefront. The response of the Armory snares is also supported and improved by the SONIClear bearing edges.

SONIClear Tom Mount

The MAPEX SONIClear mount is completely detached from the shell at the attachment points, allowing the hybrid maple and birch drums of the Armory series to "breathe" and unleash their full potential. Another feature is the floor tom legs from the Saturn IV series, which preserve the full resonance of the floor toms and seamlessly match their sound to the rack toms.

The Armory series is available in top lacquer finishes, applied by hand and among the best the market has to offer.
