The drums of the AQ2 series feature newly designed shell hardware and a new mounting system called SmartMount. These minimalist yet functional mounts immediately reveal that the design and construction come from Germany.

100% Maple Shells

Maple produces a soft, warm, and very balanced, full tone with low-end punch and a balanced mix of mids and highs.

HiHat Stand

Thanks to the sturdy steel base plate and double-braced legs, this HiHat stand is rock solid, while the two large spikes ensure a non-slip grip. The three legs with rubber feet rotate, allowing seamless integration into any drum setup (including double bass pedal setups). The double chain drive operates completely silently and can be smoothly adjusted in tension via a grippy dial. Alongside the Memo-Lock, the clutch and tilt adjuster for the HiHat cymbals are professional-grade. The low-mass tilter for the bottom cymbal consists of three rubber pads to minimize contact with the cymbal, allowing the full sound potential of the HiHats to shine through.

Snare Drum Stand

The basket can be adjusted with a grippy nut to sizes from 13" to 14". A top-tier feature is the ball joint, which allows the snare drum to be infinitely tilted and rotated in all directions and locked in place. This means the legs can be optimally positioned between the HiHat and bass drum pedal, while the upper part can be adjusted completely independently. Naturally, the ball joint also rotates, ensuring the snare strainer is always perfectly positioned.

Cymbal Stand with Retractable Boom

With double-braced legs and boom arm, this cymbal stand is suitable for all uses in the rehearsal room and on stage. The relatively high weight of over 5 kg also allows use with large, heavy cymbals when the boom is fully extended. The 40 cm long boom proves to be an incredibly practical feature, enabling cymbals and percussion to be positioned relatively independently of the stand’s location. At the same time, it can be retracted into the upper tube (e.g., in tight stage conditions). The length and angle of the boom can be independently adjusted via two finely notched screws.

Bass Drum Pedal

This double chain drive pedal guarantees a consistent, powerful beat with optimal playing comfort. Extremely high-quality workmanship ensures long durability, even under years of heavy use. Thanks to versatile adjustment options, the XDrum pedal can be tailored to any player and their individual playing style. The tension of the individual springs and, of course, the beater extension can be perfectly adjusted.

Straight Cymbal Stand

The professional cymbal stand is ideal for rehearsal rooms, stages, or practice purposes. Thanks to its dual height adjustment, it can be perfectly adapted to different body sizes and playing positions. The memory locks on all adjustable hardware components allow you to instantly find the once-set position of shells and cymbals during reassembly. The double-braced hardware ensures optimal stability of all components, even after extended use.
