Today I have with excitement the Tama damping pads attached to my drums. I was already very excited whether the pads meet my expectations for noise reduction at least partially. The pads are very easy to attach to the drums, as well as remove again. Nevertheless, they hold firmly on the skins. That is already pleasing. Then, unfortunately, came the disillusionment: A direct comparison between playing without the pad and with the pad attached afterwards shows: there are no audible differences in sound or volume. You can absolutely save the money for the pads, even if the Tama pads are not very expensive. Unfortunately they are not worth the money. Really a pity. So my recommendation: do not buy!
