Secure Mounting for Your BST-2!

The Dayton Audio BST-2 mounting kit enables a stable, clean, and visually discreet installation of the compatible BST-2 Bass Shaker. The specially tuned bracket is ideal for sim-racing cockpits, gaming seats, home cinema recliners, and custom DIY builds. Its compact design leaves very little plastic visible, so the bass shaker mount integrates unobtrusively into your setup. Four supplied M4 screws and nuts provide reliable attachment of the BST-2 to the mount.

Custom Fit for the BST-2 Bass Shaker

The bracket is specifically engineered for mounting the BST-2. This lets you secure the tactile transducer to the intended mount without having to fabricate an improvised adapter. The mounting kit creates a defined connection between the bass shaker and the supporting structure, enabling a tidy installation on suitable solid surfaces.

To attach the BST-2 to the mount, four supplied M4 screws with matching nuts are provided. The screws are designed for a length of 14–16 mm, so the fasteners required to connect the bass shaker to the mount are already included in the set.

Flexible Mounting on the Sim Rig

The bracket features 8-mm holes and can be fitted with either 6-mm or 8-mm countersunk screws depending on your construction. These countersunk screws are used to fasten the mounting kit to the sim rig, seat frame, or other suitable supporting structure. They are not included in the set and must be selected to match your mounting surface.

Before installation, compare the existing hole spacing with your intended mounting position. That way you can verify whether the bracket can be attached to your profile, frame, or seat structure without additional modifications. The chosen screws and nuts must match the material thickness and load capacity of the respective construction.

Discreet Integration Into Your Setup

With a high-quality simulator or home cinema system, appearance matters as much as function. The reduced design minimizes visible plastic and keeps the overall look tidy. The bass shaker stays securely mounted while the bracket blends discreetly into aluminium profiles, seat constructions, and custom gaming rigs.

The scope of delivery includes the BST-2 bracket itself plus four M4 screws and four matching nuts. This provides the essential components to mount the bass shaker to the mount. Only the 6-mm or 8-mm countersunk screws required to fasten the bracket to the underlying structure need to be added according to the individual construction.
