Genau wie die SG fand auch der coole Tieftöner schnell prominente Liebhaber und so sah man schon kurze Zeit nach dem Release der Longscalevariante Bassisten wie Jack Bruce (Cream), Bill Wyman (Rolling Stones) oder Glenn Cornick (Jethro Tull) mit dem EB-3 um den Hals rocken.
Mit dem offiziellen Segen des Mutterkonzerns Gibson präsentiert Epiphone jetzt eine wunderschöne Replik des legendären Basses. Und genau wie sein Vorbild, kommt auch die Epiphone-Version des EB-3 mit einem massiven Mahagonikorpus im genialen SG-Shaping.
