Der Crush Bass 50 bringt Elemente von den Orange Flagschiff Bass-Amps OB1 und 4-Stroke in ein kompaktes Combo Format.
Wie die anderen Crush Bass Modelle, basiert auch das 50 Watt Modell auf einem analogen Aufbau und dem Bassreflex Gehäusedesign für sattes, punchiges Low End. Die extrem vielseitige EQ Sektion bietet eine parametrische Mittenregelung für Klangeinstellungen ohne Limits.
Dazu kommt die bi-amp inspirierte Gain und Blend Funktion, mit der man dem Sound variable Pegel an Overdrive hinzumischen kann. Perfekt für erdige vintage Riffs bis zu heftig verzerrten Sounds, ohne dabei das wichtige Low End zu verlieren. Dieser Overdrive kann per optionalem Fußschalter aktiviert werden.
An weiterer Ausstattung bietet der Crush Bass 50 Combo einen gepufferten Effektweg, eingebautes Stimmgerät, einen Aux Eingang sowie einen Kopfhörer Ausgang mit Orange CabSim Funktion.

I have the small 50 gkauft because I love to play bass although I am a guitarist. So I can send my new bass over a small but powerful box with a clear conscience. For me 50 watts are enough - at home in any case and in the practice room it also does it (there is still the PA).
The settings are clear and functional. No fancy stuff - everything makes sense. I love the depth of Orange (I once had a 50 Marshall top and a 100 Orange cabinet - that was a dream sound).
So, if you need a good sound for your bass, and don't want to overpay, you're in good hands with this combo. Only manco: There is currently no really suitable cover. I asked Orange directly and got the answer that the problem would be solved soon.
