Der MAMP-215 von Pronomic kommt überall da zum Einsatz, wo geringer Platzbedarf oder Flexibilität gefragt sind. Mit 2x 15 Watt Leistung im stabilen Aluminiumgehäuse macht er überall eine gute Figur - sei es im heimischen Wohnbereich, als Multiroom-Lösung in der Gastronomie oder als Kopfhörerverstärker.
Kraftpaket
An Lautsprechern mit 4 Ohm Widerstand angeschlossen liefert der kleine Amp mit Class-D Endstufe 30 Watt Leistung, und somit ausreichend Lautstärke, um heimische Wohnbereiche oder Gasträume zu beschallen. An Lautsprechern mit 8 Ohm Impedanz werden 8 Watt je Kanal erzeugt. Der hohe Wirkungsgrad von über 90% macht sich sowohl im Energieverbrauch als auch in der Wärmeentwicklung positiv bemerkbar.

Einsatzbereiche

Mehrere Geräte zusammen bieten die Möglichkeit, mehrere Räume mit verschiedenen Lautstärken zu beschallen. Anschlüsse
Als Eingänge bietet der Pronomic Verstärker vorderseitig einen 3,5 mm Stereoklinkeneingang, rückseitig sind zwei Cinch-Eingänge angebracht. So lassen sich nahezu alle Audioquellen (z.B. Smartphone, Tablet, PC, Laptop oder Metronom) am MAMP-215 verwenden.
Sobald der Klinkeneingang belegt ist, schaltet sich der Cinch-Eingang automatisch stumm. Die Verstärkung von zwei Signalen gleichzeitig ist nicht möglich.
Als Ausgänge dienen eine 6,3 mm Stereoklinken-Buchse für Kopfhörer sowie ein Anschlussterminal mit Schraubklemmen für Rohkabel oder Bananenstecker.

I have already mentioned elsewhere that the power supply produces such a loud bang when it is switched on that I always think the speakers are ruined. It doesn't matter whether I use the existing switch or whether I switch the power supply on or off externally. There is a workaround, which is to set the volume to zero each time before switching. First, the AMP is a dinky thing that is adequate for my needs. I use it to drive two small speakers that are useful for me as monitor speakers when recording.
However, the little thing has a few quirks.
1. the amp is very sensitive to interferences (e.g. cooling fans of my PC).
2. there is always a little spark when connecting the power supply, which also makes the speakers crack.
3. not every speaker works with this amp. This is not necessarily a fault, but should be noted.
4. there is some background noise, which is not hifi for me.
However, I can live with it just fine.
