Powerful, High-Resolution Sound!
The most powerful speaker in the Monitor XT lineup, the MXT70, maximizes enjoyment of music, movies, TV and games with powerful, high-resolution sound featuring crystal-clear highs and deep, effortless bass. Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos certified, DTS:X compatible, and offered in a modern, affordable design, the Monitor XT70 fulfills Polk's promise of great sound for everyone.
Crystal-Clear Highs and Deep, Effortless Bass
Certified Hi-Res Audio Performance
The Monitor XT70's terylene dome tweeters extend reproduction beyond the range of human hearing—up to 40 kHz—delivering airy, clear, high-quality energy and spatial detail you won't just hear, but feel. The MXT70 is perfect for high-resolution movies, games, or the latest high-res streaming services like Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music HD and Qobuz.
Surprisingly Effortless Bass
Polk has always been known for speakers with powerful bass, and the MXT70 is no exception. Two powerful 6.5" woofers with high efficiency and dynamic balance, reinforced by two 8" passive radiators, deliver a clean, open midrange and punchy, responsive bass with low distortion. Voices and instruments remain clear, and movie soundtracks and music sound impressive.
Built for Pure Sound
The Monitor XT70 is engineered for pure listening enjoyment: nickel-plated Polk terminals ensure a direct, loss-free connection; low-resonance, critically braced MDF cabinets isolate the woofer and tweeter output without adding unwanted resonances; and their removable, custom-fit grilles minimize acoustic interference.
Consistent Sound Across the Series
The Monitor XT series was built with high-quality, sonically matched components that allow you to mix and match models to create your dream home theater or stereo system. Matched components provide a coherent soundfield with seamless blending from speaker to speaker for a truly impressive listening experience.
