Compact High-Resolution Bookshelf Speakers!
The Monitor XT15 maximizes enjoyment of music, movies, TV and gaming with dynamic, high-resolution sound and effortless bass. Hi-Res Audio certified, Dolby Atmos- and DTS:X-compatible, and housed in an affordable, compact design that can be placed almost anywhere, the MXT15 delivers on Polk's promise to provide great sound for everyone.
Powerful, Room-Filling Sound
Hi-Res Audio Certified Performance
The Terylene dome tweeters of the MXT15 enable reproduction beyond the range of human hearing—up to 40 kHz—delivering airy, clear, high-quality energy and spaciousness that you'll not only hear but also feel. The MXT15 is a perfect speaker to enjoy high-resolution movies, games, or the latest high-resolution streaming services like Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music HD and Qobuz.
Surprisingly Powerful Bass
Polk has long been known for speakers that produce astonishingly powerful bass despite their compact size. The MXT15 is no exception. Powerful, dynamically balanced 5.25" woofers with high efficiency provide a clean, open midrange and a punchy, responsive bass with low distortion—so vocals and instruments are reproduced clearly and film soundtracks and music sound impressive.
Dolby Atmos Certified and DTS:X Compatible
Compatible with the latest Dolby Atmos- and DTS:X-capable AV receivers and 4- and 8-ohm amplifiers. Monitor XT does not require special equipment to deliver great sound.
Built for Pure Sound
All Monitor XT models are engineered for the enjoyment of pure sound: their nickel-plated binding posts ensure a direct, loss-free connection; the critically braced MDF cabinets isolate the woofer and tweeter without adding unwanted resonances; and their removable, precision-fit grilles minimize acoustic interference.

However, I am delighted with the good sound that now reigns in my living room.
Wonderful bright and deep tones that fill the whole room.
As far as the Kirstein company is concerned, the processing/delivery was fast and the goods were well packaged.

The cabinets are kept rather simple, which makes this high-quality set more affordable. High-quality speakers in affordable cabinets.
However, the sound quality is TOP!!! No matter what style of music or as a 5.1 system for home theater. It is a sound experience, clear and fine. The sub is adjustable and therefore the XT20s are perfectly adequate for the front.
The disadvantage is the sub fan, I think it could be a little quieter.
