The Pronomic PM83U MP3 is a clever power mixer that fits seamlessly into modern live and rehearsal room setups. The power mixer features 8 channels, each of which has a 1/4" jack connector and an XLR connector.
Integrated effects & equaliser
For each channel, there is an effective 2-band equaliser and a control for tuning the effects. This way, the sound can be adjusted to individual needs.
The master section has a clear 5-band graphic equaliser with a control range of -12dB to +12dB. The effects section has one echo, delay and volume control each. This allows you to adapt the effects to your personal and musical needs.
USB/SD/Bluetooth® MP3 player
The highlight of the mixing amplifier is the integrated USB/SD/Bluetooth® MP3 player. The corresponding data source is simply selected via the control panel. The Bluetooth® function offers the possibility to let the mixer communicate with corresponding devices such as mobile phones or tablet PCs as well.
Tape-in & record-out for external players and for recording your own performance
A tape input offers the possibility of sending external feed players (CD players, MP3 players, etc.) via the power mixer. In this case, the volume is conveniently controlled via the master section.
The additional Rec-Out (Cinch) allows you to connect a recording device to capture your performance for posterity. The speaker outputs A/B for the passive PA speakers are the only connections on the rear panel. This ensures absolute efficiency and accessibility.

The equalizer works very well, so you can get a lot out of the sound. In contrast to the previous reviewers, I like the integrated echo quite a bit, as well as the delay. Is however rather what for guitarists.
Otherwise, a clear purchase recommendation for all who value a compact system and who do not want to drag a rack with mixer and power amp.

Can you connect an active sub to this power mixer if so how?

This is not really technically correct for an active sub. The speaker outputs are for passive PA speakers. But you could theoretically connect something like that via the rec-out.

hi ive bought this amp it works fine,im using my acer pc via its 3.5 jack out into the amp rca in,i do have 3 in options rca/ xlr /6.5 jack.what in would you use ?

Well, if you do not need to adjust the sound any further with the equalizers or the effects of the input channels I would recommend using the RCA-CD-Input for simplicity. You could also use the 6.5mm Jacks but then you would have to adjust the levels of signal L and R seperately. Please do not use the XLR inputs as those are intended for use with microphones only unless you run your signal through a DI-Box in which case you can use those too.
