Gentle Wave Sounds With Spiritual Depth!
The Meinl Sonic Energy WD18FOL Flower of Life Wave Drum blends soothing sea-like tones with natural materials and strong visual symbolism. By gently tilting the drum, fine beads roll across the two goatskins and produce soft, flowing wave sounds. The sound evokes a fresh breeze or gentle water and creates a relaxing atmosphere ideal for meditation, sound therapy and mindful musical applications.
Soft Wave Tone From Natural Materials
The two natural goatskins give the Wave Drum an especially warm and organic tonal character. Combined with the special filling of glass and amaranth beads, it produces a noticeably softer and more even wave sound than classic Wave Drums. The tones unfold calmly, flowing and without harsh peaks, making them excellent for relaxing soundscapes.
Adjustable Beads for Individual Sound Shaping
Inside the drum you can regulate the movement of the beads to precisely adjust the intensity and density of the wave sound. This allows you to fine-tune the tonal character from very subtle and airy to a bit more present, without losing the calming core effect. This flexibility makes the Wave Drum versatile across different acoustic environments.
Versatile for Meditation and Sound Work
The Flower of Life Wave Drum is often used in meditations, sound journeys, yoga sessions and therapeutic contexts. It also works as an atmospheric sound instrument in musical performances or to craft deliberate transitions and moments of calm. The even, natural sound supports relaxation, focus and inner balance.
Symbolic Design With the Flower of Life
Visually, this Wave Drum is decorated with the Flower of Life symbol, which in many cultures stands for harmony, order and the connection of all life. This design gives the instrument a special spiritual presence and makes it a central element of any sound practice, both sonically and visually.
Stable Construction and Comfortable Handling
The rubberwood frame provides stability and a pleasant feel. With an 18" diameter the Wave Drum offers a wide tonal spectrum, while the shallow depth enables comfortable holding and precise tilting. This makes it easy to intuitively control and finely nuance the sound.
