Top features at a great price - for Orff groups and percussionists!
Made from fine tonewoods, the Classic Cantabile AX-1600NG alto xylophone is the ideal instrument for Orff Schulwerk, music education and music therapy.
Construction
The large resonance box, made from 12 mm-thick basswood, features 5 resonance chambers of different sizes to deliver a full, resonant sound. The padouk tone bars, just 31 mm wide, are mounted on rubber and can be easily removed or replaced. This feature is particularly useful for beginners, as it allows the range to be adjusted step by step to suit their abilities. In addition, the bars covering the range from c1 to a2 are marked with their corresponding notes, making it even easier for children and beginners to play.
With additional notes
The set also includes three semitone bars (F-sharp', B-flat' & F-sharp"), allowing you to expand your repertoire into additional keys (G major, F major, E minor & D minor). Naturally, 1 pair of wool-headed mallets is included. The mallets can be stored securely in the holes on the top.
Unpack and start playing!
