The SUB 8006-AS is the largest and most powerful active subwoofer in the professional series. Equipped with two 18" transducers featuring 4" voice coils both inside and out, this enclosure is built to deliver a huge amount of low-frequency energy. The SUB 8006-AS is driven by a digital amplifier module delivering 2500 W and can perform convincingly even in the most demanding situations.

Powerful Class-D Amplifiers

RCF's Class-D amplifier technology combines large power reserves with high efficiency and low weight. RCF amplifiers are defined by extremely fast response, realistic transient reproduction and an impressive sonic character. The robust aluminium housing protects the amplifier during transport while also enabling fanless heat dissipation. All amplifiers feature switch-mode power supplies for minimal weight and maximum output.

Innovative Transducer Technology

RCF specializes in the development of state-of-the-art transducers using high-tech materials such as neodymium, carbon fiber, pure titanium, Kevlar, Kapton and Mylar hybrids. With 70 years of experience in design, manufacturing and marketing, RCF has driven many technological advances, including carbon cone membranes, dual-silicone spiders, the shaping of pure-titanium diaphragms, as well as new voice-coil winding techniques like inner/outer winding and rectangular-wire coils. Enclosures & Mounting Hardware

RCF enclosures are made from birch multiplex and coated with a black textured finish. The subwoofers are stackable and light, and thanks to ergonomically shaped handles they are easy to rig and strike. Pole flanges on the top and on one side allow use of the box in various configurations. The powder-coated front grille is lined on the inside with acoustic foam, which provides additional dust protection for the speakers.
