Flexible Powerhouse for Professional Applications!
The active speakers of the Concert series are perfect for professional use. Housed in a rugged plastic enclosure with textured finish, they feature a high-resolution 2-way system driven by two separate amplifiers. Two input channels, a Bluetooth® receiver and, above all, the DSP presets deliver outrageously punchy sound and versatile options.
8\" Woofer With 1.0\" Compression Driver
In the sturdy enclosure the two diaphragms are powered by two separate amplifiers. The 8-inch woofer receives 150 W RMS while the tweeter is supplied with 50 W. This produces a clear, powerful sound with outstanding projection.
Connections
The first of the two channels is equipped with an XLR/¼\" combo jack, which allows both line signals and direct operation with dynamic microphones. The second channel is for wired use of e.g. laptop and MP3 player via 3.5 mm jack or phono. A third input is the Bluetooth® receiver, so music can also be streamed to the speaker from smartphones and tablets.
DSP Presets
In the "Speaker Mode" area the speaker's sound can be easily adapted to the respective application:
- PA: The default setting, where all frequencies are reproduced evenly.
- Monitor: Intended for use as a floor monitor. In this setting the bass is slightly reduced while the highs are boosted.
- Sub: Low frequencies are lowered. Useful when an additional subwoofer is used without a crossover.
- Speech: The frequency range of the human voice is increased to achieve a clear, intelligible sound.
Mix Out Output
The switchable XLR output allows the summed signal to be sent to another speaker in the "MIX" setting, while in "CH 1" mode only the signal from channel 1 is output. This way a signal (e.g., right channel or monitor 2) can be routed to a second speaker but muted on the first.
Status LEDs and Power
Three LEDs on the right indicate whether mains power and a signal are present. The third LED indicates whether the built-in limiter is active, which protects the multifunction box from distortion and damage. A special treat is the professional power management: an additional power output supplies other devices with up to 7 amps.
