The output level is so high that you can work really well with it and still have reserves (this is not always the case with many competitors in the lower price range). There's nothing wrong with the sound quality either. It's not outstanding or brilliant. I would describe it as pleasantly neutral, without overemphasizing certain frequencies. You don't have to make many adjustments to the mixer because it is already well tuned (especially for speech).
The dynamic range is also good. You have to really shout into it to get it to overdrive. A proximity effect can be heard. For optimum results, the microphone should be held as close to the mouth as possible. Of course, there is a risk of "microphone gobbling" for the inexperienced, as it sounds much thinner further away. The robust basket has a pop protection inside that works surprisingly well. The quality offered is really good for presentations. However, the microphones are not really suitable for high-quality vocal transmission. However, they can be used for fun or karaoke.
The radio transmission is also flawless. There is no hissing, humming or any other noise. I can't detect any major latency either. The frequencies are fixed, so they cannot be changed afterwards. You have to know that! The receiver has a mono jack output that can be used to connect both microphones to a mixer input. If you want to mix both microphones individually, you can connect both channels separately to the mixing console via the two XLR outputs. I think that's a great thing.
The workmanship and feel are in line with the price segment (good). Both the microphones and the receiver are made of lightweight plastic. However, the feel of the handheld transmitters is surprisingly good and they are not too light. They sit well in the hand and the grip and switching noises are also kept within limits. I have tried much worse candidates.
