Flexible Concept In A Small Package!
The Powermake 1200 is the perfect power mixer for bands that create atmosphere at events such as weddings, birthday parties, or corporate functions. Numerous connections allow a flexible setup including monitoring, and the two wireless microphones are available to hosts for speeches and announcements.
Inputs and Controls
Channels 1–12 each have both a microphone and a balanced line input. In addition to processing with the 3-band EQ, every signal can be refined with the integrated digital effects. Features such as peak indicator, mute button, pan control and PFL are also available for each channel strip.
Wireless Microphones
Very handy when the hosts have something to say: with a quick press of a button the two microphones synchronize with the receiver module and you're ready to go! The UHF radio signal used offers a solid range and can be used license-free within Germany.
Important note: Both microphones occupy channel 1 of the mixer and share that channel's tone controls. Therefore individual tone processing for the two microphones is not possible.
Suitable For Active and Passive Speakers
The many connection options enable a very flexible setup: as with any conventional mixer, the audio signal can be routed via the stereo outputs to an external power amp or active speakers. Using the internal amplifier, passive PA cabinets are supplied with 2 x 380 watts. As an extra convenience, the Powermake also features an Aux output that can be used, for example, for stage monitoring.
Effects Unit and Equalizer
A total of 100 digital effects are available to deliver the perfect sound. One of these can be selected and mixed into each channel individually. A clear graphical equalizer is provided for adapting to the room acoustics.
Media Player and Recorder
So there's no boredom during the breaks, the media player can play music from USB or via Bluetooth®. And for unforgettable memories of great evenings, the main mix can even be recorded to USB.

Variant Pronomic Powermake 600 Power Mixer with Wireless Microphones

We searched for quite a while, especially since we’d had a power mixer with more channels, stereo channels, and a few other features—we’d gotten used to that, but the project back then was also larger, and yet that unit was somehow still oversized. That mixer is now broken, and for our current project—a duo performing instrumental light music—we wanted a mixer without any unnecessary channels or jacks. In theory (and that was exactly the point), we wired up our entire setup in advance, and the Powermake was able to handle everything we needed, including two UHF mics on a single channel and a built-in receiver. It also has a USB port for flash drives, including a recording function. We use the jack for a flash drive with intermission music. Start and stop at the push of a button. It doesn’t get any more convenient than that.
Due to the design, the headphone jack outputs “only” channels 1 through 6. At first, this didn’t seem right to me, but for our use case, there’s no need to preview audio—for example, from a USB flash drive. We can easily overlook that.
I don’t want to write a technical treatise here. It’s definitely worth mentioning, however, that before and after the purchase, I was able to speak with several sales department employees who answered all my questions about the device in a very friendly and knowledgeable manner and also offered helpful tips. The customer service also deserves a very positive mention here. Many thanks to Musikhaus Kirstein.
We’ve now completed several technical rehearsals and our first 4-hour performance with the “Powermake 600,” and it quickly made us forget our old, broken mixer. The new mixer and our existing Pronomic/Kierstein speakers (used as monitors) work well together.
And before I forget… the package was absolutely awesome, and the build quality of the mixer chassis and microphone housings is top-notch.
