Versatile High-End Electric Guitar For The Highest Demands!
The Ibanez AZ2204AG Prestige combines modern versatility with traditional Japanese craftsmanship and is aimed at demanding guitarists who expect maximum precision, playing comfort and tonal flexibility. Thanks to thoughtful ergonomics, premium materials and powerful electronics, it effortlessly covers a wide musical spectrum from pristine cleans to punchy high-gain settings.
Ergonomic Neck And Precise Playability
The bolt-on S-TECH WOOD neck made of roasted maple delivers high stability and consistent resonance. The AZ Oval C neck profile provides a comfortable fretting hand position, while the oiled finish offers a natural playing feel. The roasted maple fingerboard with rounded edges and Luminlay side dots gives excellent orientation and comfortable playing even in the upper registers.
Powerful-Sounding Body With Balanced Resonance
The ash body offers a balanced tonal response with clear highs, defined mids and tight lows. The ergonomically contoured back and the Super All Access neck joint significantly improve playability and enable unrestricted access to the entire fingerboard.
Versatile Electronics For Maximum Tonal Variety
Equipped with Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups in S-S-H configuration, the guitar provides a wide tonal palette with balanced output and high clarity. The dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter Switch allows ten different tonal options and flexible switching between humbucker and single-coil sounds.
Reliable Hardware And High Tuning Stability
The Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners with the H.A.P. system ensure precise tuning and individually adjustable string tension. The Gotoh T1802 tremolo offers fast response and a stable return to the neutral position for reliable performance. Jumbo stainless steel frets with Prestige Fret Edge Treatment support clean and effortless playing.
