Gibson Les Paul Studio Ebony - Return (Condition: Very Good)

After careful consideration and the ever-growing desire to own a real Gibson Les Paul, everything happened very quickly.
I am thrilled and "Ebony" immediately became my number 1!!!

I don't know if it was already like this or if the scratch happened on the way to me, but it's hard to miss. Too bad about the guitar. It's a big square scratch on the guitar head, too bad about the guitar

I chose five stars because the Gibson Les Paul Studio in Blueberry Burst exceeded my expectations in every way. The sound is powerful, warm and typically "Les Paul" - ideal for rock, blues and everything in between. The workmanship is high quality, the finish in Blueberry Burst is simply breathtaking and immediately catches the eye - elegant and individual at the same time.

What I particularly like is the playability: the fingerboard feels supple, the string action is comfortable and the weight is well balanced. I had no problems adjusting and tuning it. There was nothing I noticed that was negative.

I would recommend this guitar to anyone who is looking for a professional instrument with a classic Les Paul sound and a modern look - whether you are an ambitious amateur musician or an experienced stage player.

I received a very good offer for this high-quality guitar from Kierstein. The transaction was quick and uncomplicated. The delivery was also speedy - securely packaged and undamaged. I particularly like the 3-year guarantee that Kierstein offers. After unpacking, I was able to start playing straight away - the guitar was ready to play and perfectly set up.

The reason for buying it was the visual and tactile similarity to my Les Paul Traditional; I wanted a second instrument for the practice room and the stage.
Even the first time I picked it up, it was fun - light, easy to play and stable in tuning.
What I didn't like quite so much:
Some of the strings rested on the back of the bridge because the stoptail piece was screwed all the way down - I would never have thought that the sustain could suffer so much - now I've got it officially.
As I had initially blamed the very low string action for this and didn't want to mess with it straight away, I spent a week thinking about sending it back, but then I also noticed that the tone was generally very bright and percussive, my fingers were black and the strings were like new, so I changed them and adjusted the stoptailpiece setting to my liking, but didn't change the string action.
And lo and behold - it sings ........
That's what I'd expect from a guitar in this price range on delivery, but that's the only negative point, otherwise I'm more than satisfied.
