Fender Limited Edition Cory Wong Stratocaster Surf Green - Returned Item (Condition: Very Good)

Fender Limited Edition Cory Wong Stratocaster Rosewood Fingerboard in Surf Green with Case!

Guitarist, producer and arranger Cory Wong is known for his incredible funk playing and inventive lead work. His expressive playing with Vulfpeck and his Grammy-nominated solo material have earned him a devoted following and sold-out arena shows. The Cory Wong Stratocaster is a tribute to Cory's favorite Fender, carefully modified to meet the needs of the funk master.

The satin finish recreates the look and feel of Cory's beloved original Strat, while the reduced alder body — slightly smaller than a typical Stratocaster — combined with the American Ultra Modern "D" neck and shaped body contours delivers an exceptionally comfortable playing experience. A set of Seymour Duncan Cory Wong Clean Machine pickups provides classic Strat quack and vocal-like tones, finely voiced to achieve his unmistakable sound.

Other features include a maple neck with a subtly modified headstock shape, a rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges and a 10-14" compound radius, a 6-screw vintage-style synchronized tremolo, Deluxe Locking Tuners that provide improved tuning stability and easy string changes, as well as a push/push pot for Tone 2 that bypasses the 5-way switch and defaults to "position 4". Also included are a Cory Wong hair tie (to mute the tremolo springs to achieve Cory's rhythm tone), a set of rubber straplock washers and a special neck plate.
