The American Vintage II 1963 Telecaster, with Pure Vintage '63 Telecaster pickups, a bridge with three threaded barrel saddles and a comfortable maple neck in a C profile, delivers the same tonal character and playability as the original. The clay dots (closely spaced at the 12th fret) and the 7.25" fretboard radius also date from 1963.

Gloss Nitrocellulose Finish

Nitrocellulose lacquer was used on Fender guitars and basses in the '50s and '60s. It is a very thin premium finish that supports, rather than restricts, the instrument's natural resonance.

Alder Body

Alder has beautiful grain and develops a very musical resonance. The wood produces a balanced tone with strong mids and a solid bass response.
