The Fender American Ultra II Stratocaster HSS features a sleek alder body with flowing, ergonomic contours. The quartersawn maple neck (vertical grain) feels wonderfully smooth and fast with its "Modern D" profile, Ultra Satin finish and ultra-smooth rounded edges. The 10"-14" compound radius fingerboard is available in ebony or quartersawn maple and is equipped with medium jumbo frets, Luminlay side dots and a Graph Tech TUSQ nut. A low-profile neck heel and a contoured body back enable unprecedented playability with comfortable access to the highest positions.

Innovation continues under the hood. Two specially voiced Ultra II Noiseless Hot Strat pickups and a Haymaker humbucker give this guitar plenty of bite and deliver all the classic Strat tones, from sweet cleans to soaring, powerful leads — and all completely hum-free. For additional tonal colors you can coil-split the Haymaker using our patented S-1 switch. Other roadworthy details: synchronized American Ultra 2-point tremolo, polished stainless steel block saddles, Deluxe locking tuners, soft-touch control knobs and a 1-ply anodized aluminum pickguard.
