Your Cello for Powerful Band Gigs and Quiet Practice Sessions!
The modern E-Cello CE-200 is the perfect instrument for you. On the one hand, the electric cello lets you play amplified in band lineups that would otherwise drown out an acoustic cello. On the other hand, the CE-200 is ideal for quiet practice sessions at home. The word "boredom" is officially banished from your vocabulary with this striking Classic Cantabile E-Cello!
Selected Materials
Solid spruce, maple and ebony are the tonewoods used to craft this stylish cello. Thanks to these carefully selected woods, the cello delivers a pleasing tone despite its minimal resonant volume — a sound that will convince you even when playing unplugged without headphones.
Fold-Out Chest Rest
The chest rest ensures a comfortable playing position; when folded out it simulates the depth of an acoustic instrument. This lets you comfortably brace the cello against your body despite the compact, reduced body.
Pickup System
The CE-200 features a pickup system with a line output. Using the instrument cable included in the delivery, you can connect your cello to any standard PA system, to amplifiers, effects units and wireless transmitters. In addition to the on/off switch and the volume control, a tone control lets you adjust the sound to be brighter or warmer to your taste. A 9V battery is also included.
Practice Makes Perfect
If you want to practice at home without disturbing housemates, simply plug the included headphones into the integrated jack. Extended practice sessions and creative work can then continue late into the night if needed!
Case and Co.
Along with the Classic Cantabile cello you receive a sturdy gigbag and other accessories. The accessory pockets hold the bow and various useful little items, and the adjustable backpack straps let you carry your instrument comfortably on the go.

The sound quality could be much worse, but I like the look and feel of it very much.
The minuses:
The pick up produces plenty of white noise (a background noise). This can be filtered out with a Bluetooth transmitter and good Bluetooth headphones, but unfortunately there is an unavoidable time delay between the note played and the sound heard.
The fold-out wooden piece for correct positioning on the body sits far too low on the instrument and is so badly attached that the tiny screws work themselves out due to the vibrations when playing.
If you want to enjoy the sound, you should be prepared for the fact that the instrument must first be made completely playable (by yourself or by a luthier) (including correct positioning of the bridge, height adjustment if necessary, better strings...) - this requires prior knowledge and patience and/or money...
Conclusion: Not bad as a second cello for quieter practicing, beginners are likely to be quickly overwhelmed by the technical challenges and frustrated before they have a chance to learn the cello...
