Cort CORE-MC OV Black Top - Return (Condition: Very Good)

All-Solid Acoustic Power With Boutique Character!

The Cort CORE MC OV from the renowned Core Series combines all-solid tonewoods, excellent craftsmanship and modern boutique features at a remarkably player-friendly price. With a solid cedar top, solid ovangkol back and sides and an extra-thin open-pore finish, this Modern Concert Cutaway acoustic guitar unfolds its full sonic potential with impressive dynamics, resonance and natural projection.

All-Solid Tonewoods for Maximum Resonance

The solid cedar top delivers a warm, directly responsive tone with fast attack - ideal for fingerstyle, strumming and dynamic playing. Back and sides made from solid ovangkol provide clear lows, defined mids and brilliant highs. Thanks to the all-solid construction, the guitar will develop even more character and sonic depth over time.

Optimized Vibration Response

The hand-scalloped X-bracing maximizes top movement and supports a balanced overtone spectrum. The extra-thin open-pore finish minimizes damping of the wood and allows unusually free vibration. At the same time, the elegant Black Top Semi Gloss color gives the instrument a modern, earthy look with professional presence.

Comfortable Playability

The Modern Concert Cutaway body shape offers great playing comfort and easy access to the upper frets. The glued mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard feels comfortable in the hand and ensures stable tone transfer. With a nut width of 43 mm and a scale length of 643 mm, the CORE MC OV strikes a balanced compromise between comfortable chord work and precise soloing. 20 well-finished frets enable accurate intonation across the entire fingerboard.

High-Quality Components

A bone nut supports optimal vibration transfer and improves sustain and tuning stability. Vintage open-gear tuners in chrome finish ensure precise tuning with a classic look. The rosewood bridge complements the premium overall appearance. From the factory the guitar is strung with Elixir Phosphor Bronze Nanoweb Light strings (012-053) - for long-lasting, brilliant tone.

Professional Electronics

With the integrated Fishman Presys VT pickup system, the CORE MC OV is also ideal for live use or studio work. The system delivers a natural, transparent acoustic tone with reliable signal transfer and easy operation - perfect for stage, recording and rehearsal.
