Classic Cantabile - Sounds simply better!
The AS-851 is ideal for beginners and advanced guitarists! Whether for music lessons, band practice, live performances or around the campfire: this guitar will bring you joy wherever you play!
The Classic Cantabile AS-851 - the perfect beginner or second instrument
The Classic Cantabile AS-851 is ideal for beginner guitarists. With a 50.5 cm scale length, this instrument is perfectly suited to children aged approx. 4 to 7. Of course, adult beginners will also appreciate how easy the AS-851 is to play.
Selected materials - clean workmanship
Only carefully selected materials are used for AS-851 guitars. The laminated top and body produce a beautiful, warm sound, while the neatly crafted bridge transfers string vibrations in every detail, even with a gentle finger touch. The smooth-turning tuning machines also ensure excellent tuning stability.
A sound worth hearing!
Especially for beginners, it is important to enjoy the learning process. A guitar needs to be not only functional to support optimal progress, but also to deliver a pleasing sound. The AS-851 models offer plenty of fun with their expressive tone and make it easy to assess your own playing.
Classic looks
The AS-851 stands out with its light natural-finish top and dark-toned body. The finely detailed rosette, attractive decorative tuning machines and understated headstock complete the look.
Which guitar size is right?
The scale length indicates the size of a guitar - more precisely, the length of the vibrating string between the nut and bridge. The standard scale length is 650 mm and corresponds to a 4/4 guitar. All other sizes are smaller and are therefore recommended for children and young people.
Our recommendations for scale length according to age and height:
| 1/4 size | Age 4 to 7 years | Height up to 110 cm | Scale length approx. 47-49 cm |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1/2 size | Age 5 to 9 years | Height 110 to 130 cm | Scale length approx. 53-55 cm |
| 3/4 size | Age 8 to 11 years | Height 120 to 140 cm | Scale length approx. 59-62 cm |
| 7/8 size | Age 10 to 13 years | Height 130 to 150 cm | Scale length approx. 62-63 cm |
| 4/4 size | Age approx. 14 and up | Height approx. 150 cm and up | Scale length approx. 63-65 cm |
