Today I let my euphonium-playing colleagues try out the instrument. They liked the instrument and thought it was great for the price. I'm still practicing myself. But as the instrument responds well, I was able to play some simple pieces in today's rehearsal. I should also mention that a metal mouthpiece is VERY recommendable. As I have played in a trombone choir for over 40 years and took my expensive brass horn with me in all weathers, I am now very pleased with this good alternative for outdoor events.
The only pity is the white mouthpiece on the black euphonium, I would have been happier with a black mouthpiece as shown in the description.
