The Slö Multi Texture Reverb creates rich, modulated, dreamlike, spacious soundscapes. It offers three distinct reverb algorithms whose sonic textures will bring your deepest dreams to life.

The toggle lets you pick one of three reverb modes: Dark (with a low octave), Rise (spatial swell) and Dream (flat and static). The toggle’s second function selects different waveforms to modulate the reverb tail.

Algorithms
Use the selector to choose one of the three reverb algorithms:
DARK - Adds a low octave to the reverb tail. Ideal for deep, wide, atmospheric tones and nightmarish soundscapes. The X knob controls the volume of a signal transposed down one octave that is fed into the reverb input.

RISE - A swelling reverb for beautiful, cinematic textures. Take your time. Let the sound breathe and gently awaken. The X knob sets the time the reverb takes to swell after playing a note. Lower settings produce a shorter swell time; higher settings produce a long swell.

DREAM - A lush reverb with a pad function. Press the Sustain switch to "freeze" the sound. Experiment with the X knob to add vibrato to the pad. Press Sustain again and the pad will fade out over the time set by the Decay knob. The X knob controls the intensity of the vibrato on the reverb tail.

The Slö also offers three selectable waveforms for modulation. To choose them, hold Bypass while you operate the algorithm selector:

• SINE - Smooth, even pitch modulation up and down
• WARP - Asymmetric pitch modulation upward, like a warped record
• SINK - Asymmetric pitch modulation downward, à la Bigsby

"Momentary" Function
Bypass: Turns the effect on and off. The Slö supports "Smart Bypass Switching." When the switch is in the "off" position, you can press and hold it to momentarily engage the effect and create a sonic accent. Releasing the switch disengages the effect and it will fade out.

Sustain: Hold the switch to temporarily boost the reverb time to maximum for long, dreamy tones. Releasing the switch returns the reverb time to the value set by the Decay knob. In "Dream" mode the Sustain switch controls the freezing of the reverb tail. Press once to hold the reverb and create extremely long, flat textures. Press again and the reverb will fade out over the time set by the Decay knob.

Trails Mode
The Slö can be used in Trails or No-Trails mode. In Trails mode the reverb naturally decays when the pedal is switched off. In No-Trails mode the reverb is cut off abruptly when the pedal is turned off. To toggle between modes, hold the Bypass switch for one second while connecting power. Disconnect power and repeat the procedure to switch back.

The Design
The Slö painted in "Lollipop Blue" features original artwork in light blue and cream by Christi Du Toit. The cast enclosure measures 12.17 x 6.6 x 3.53 cm. It requires 9V DC with at least 100 mA for power. For all Walrus Audio pedals we recommend using a separate, isolated power supply. Daisy-chain power supplies are not recommended. A power supply is not included.
