With the DigiTech Mosaic Polyphonic 12-String effects pedal you can produce lush 12-string sounds using 6-string guitars. Octaved low strings and doubled high strings deliver instantly recognizable 12-string tones. Single notes and full chord strums shine with polyphonic richness and a heavenly motion that will inspire you. The Mosaic's balanced low-end and crisp octave shimmer create a lush, articulate tone, just like a 12-string guitar.
Shape the Mosaic's sound with the independent Level and Tone controls. Level controls the intensity of the 12-string effect, while Tone sets the overall brightness. The Mosaic gives you a richer, more resonant and fuller tone than a standard six-string guitar. It's a true-bypass effect and uses a 9V DC power supply, so it integrates easily into your existing pedalboard.
Level
This knob changes the intensity of the 12-string effect. Turn clockwise to increase and counterclockwise to decrease the intensity.
Tone
This knob adjusts the amount of high-frequency emphasis applied to the 12-string effect signal. Turn it clockwise to make the tone brighter.
True Bypass
Preserves your tone when the pedal is not in use.

It's fascinating how this polyphonic sound technology works. I love playing arggios and fingerstyle with the electric guitar and acoustic guitar with amplifier connection and it's very convincing. When I connect my 8-string electric guitar, the sound of a 16-string guitar comes out. Since I am not only interested in the popular music genres, but also in the classical guitar (also with electric guitar) of the baroque era / Bach / Middle Ages, where multi-string lutes / guitars with up to 14 strings and more were used, this wonderful effect device from Digitec comes in very handy. Of course, it can also be further refined in an effects chain with delay/reverb. All in all, it's a purchase I wouldn't want to be without! Highly recommended!
