Ready. Intuitive. Every Time.
The new GLXD24+/B87A dual-band vocal system includes the industry-leading Beta 87A vocal microphone and delivers outstandingly transparent, digital audio quality. The combination of automatic frequency management with the new dual-band technology ensures reliable, consistent performance, while Shure lithium-ion batteries provide up to 12 hours of runtime. Wireless without complications.
The GLX-D+ Dual Band System
GLX-D+ Shure dual-band wireless systems are the perfect solution for hassle-free wireless transmission for music and presentations. Everything is managed automatically and with absolute reliability so you can focus on the performance. The new dual-band RF technology allows GLX-D+ to operate in both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands, more than doubling the available bandwidth.
Intelligent interference avoidance ensures reliable, uninterrupted audio. The supplied lithium-ion battery features intelligent charging technology, offers up to 12 hours of runtime (an improvement over the previous GLX-D generation), can be charged in multiple ways and supports fast charging. The wireless systems are available with various microphone options (including the Beta 87A) — as tabletop units, in a 9.5-inch 4-format and in a pedalboard format. In combination with a frequency manager and directional antennas (both sold separately), the receiver systems are ideal for rack mounting in small to medium installations that require a high channel count.
Transmitters and receivers of GLX-D+ Dual Band are not compatible with previous GLX-D or GLX-D Advanced wireless systems.
Benefits
New Dual-Band RF Technology
The new dual-band RF technology lets GLX-D+ operate in both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands, more than doubling the available bandwidth. Intelligent interference avoidance ensures reliable, uninterrupted audio.
Intelligent Charging Technology
The GLX-D+ dual-band battery ends unreliable runtimes. The new SB904 lithium-ion battery delivers up to 12 hours of runtime and can be charged directly at the receiver or via a USB-C port on the handheld microphone or bodypack transmitter. A fast-charge function provides up to 1.5 hours of operation after just 15 minutes of charging.
New, Improved Performance
GLX-D+ dual-band wireless systems offer features not available in the first-generation GLX-D systems: operation in both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands, improved battery life and an integrated 6.3 mm guitar input.
Quality in Every Detail
Simple, Hassle-Free Configuration and Management
Transmitters and receivers pair automatically to make setup as easy as possible — plug in and go. Intelligent frequency management continuously monitors the spectrum and seamlessly switches to an interference-free channel when disturbances occur. Wireless without complications.
Highly Reliable RF Performance for Multi-System Installations
The GLX-D+ dual-band wireless systems act as an antenna distributor and provide improved RF performance as well as automatic frequency management for up to 11 9.5-inch rack systems at typical venues (16 under ideal conditions). Requires separately sold frequency manager (GLXD+FM).
License-Free Frequency Range
Mobile operation without licensing issues, frequency coordination or other technical hurdles.
