The RC-1 is an extremely user-friendly looper: recording, playback, overdubbing, and the undo/redo functions are all straightforward to operate and make creating your own loop phrases fun. An innovative loop indicator is integrated into the top panel. It features an LED ring with 24 segments arranged in a circle so you can quickly see the current status of recording/overdubbing/playback at a glance. With 12 minutes of stereo recording time, the RC-1 gives you plenty of room for longer takes!

The stereo inputs and outputs can be connected to stereo effects units and stereo amplifier systems. You can also connect stereo instruments, such as synthesizers, to the inputs. What Options Do I Have When Connecting an External Footswitch?

The optional FS-7 footswitch is an ideal complement to the RC-1, partly because its vertically arranged switches require very little extra space. Pressing the "A" switch stops recording/overdubbing/playback. Holding the "A" switch for two seconds or longer erases the recorded phrase.
Pressing the "B" switch cancels the recording (undo function) or reactivates it (redo function). It doesn't get any simpler!
