The Dynamic program controls the reverb depth via your playing dynamics. Powerful and impressive reverb effects that never wash out your tone. The RV-6 makes it extremely easy to dial in high-quality reverb sounds with your guitar: pick an effect category, tweak a knob and play. Although the operation feels simple, the RV-6's sound is complex and sophisticated. Under the hood each mode runs many detailed reverb parameters developed by BOSS engineers in collaboration with professional musicians and audio engineers. Even if you only adjust a program's "Time & Tone" controls, many parameters are internally tweaked to always deliver the ideal voicing.

Analog Dry Signal and Versatile I/O

While the RV-6's reverb effects operate on an absolute high-end digital level, you can be sure the actual guitar signal remains purely analog and the effect is simply mixed in. The practical auto-switch jacks allow any signal chain, supporting "mono", "mono-to-stereo" and "stereo-to-stereo" operation. By using Input B alone, the RV-6 sends 100% of the pure effect sound to the output — ideal for complex rigs or mixers with a parallel signal path. There is also a jack to control the reverb level with an optional expression or volume pedal by foot while you play with your hands.
