Equipped with BOSS’s most advanced sound engine, optimized for bass, the GT-1B delivers high-quality sound and effect tools at a pro level. The wide selection of preamps — including updated favorites from the GT-10B and two completely new models — lets you shape your bass tone from the ground up. Built on advanced MDP technology, the premium effects such as limiter and distortion preserve your instrument’s character and response, letting your musical creativity run free. In addition to bass essentials like a graphic EQ and T-Wah, the GT-1B offers impressive extras including a harmonizer, bass synth and a defretter. Numerous modulation, delay and reverb effects plus an internal looper give you more room for creativity during spontaneous jam sessions.
Easy Sound Creation
The intuitive interface makes it easy for even multi-effects beginners to create sounds and fine-tune parameters. Dedicated buttons give direct access to each effect category, and the three knobs let you comfortably adjust the effects. The buttons also act as on/off switches and include status indicators so you can see at a glance which categories are selected. The clear select-and-edit functions further simplify patch creation and let beginners and pros build top-quality multi-effects sounds in just a few steps.
Professional Control Despite Compact Size
The GT-1B’s three footswitches let you select patches, access the tuner, control the looper and more without taking up much space. The CTL1 switch is assignable, so functions like tap tempo and effect on/off can be controlled directly, while the expression pedal and toe switch can control volume, wah, pitch shift and many other effect parameters. If you want even more control, you can connect up to two external footswitches or an expression pedal to the GT-1B. The USB port also enables direct recording to your DAW in addition to giving access to BOSS Tone Central and BOSS Tone Studio.
