Roland presents the AC-33 - an extremely compact and lightweight (4.7 kg!) acoustic amplifier that delivers fantastic stereo sound and can run for 8 hours on just eight standard AA batteries!

This is the world’s first acoustic amplifier designed to operate on standard AA batteries/rechargeables (AA size) instead of heavy battery packs, and it shines with many additional features: a looper with overdubs, two channels, anti-feedback to prevent howling, digital effects, a folding bracket for tilting, and more.
The AC-33 rounds out Roland’s successful acoustic amp line alongside the AC-60 and AC-90 at the smaller end — for musicians who want an even smaller amp and the freedom to play anywhere.

Natural Stereo Sound

Thanks to Roland’s latest DSP technology, the AC-33 delivers a clear, full acoustic tone with a sound pressure you wouldn’t expect from its size. It’s designed for stereo (15 watts x 2) and offers a brilliant stereo multiband chorus or Wide mode, plus stereo reverb and stereo ambience room simulations specially tailored to acoustic instruments.

Playing and Singing

The AC-33 features two separate channels: Guitar and Mic/Line. Both channels have dedicated controls for volume, multiband EQ and chorus. The Mic/Line channel provides both XLR and jack inputs. You can also connect an MP3 or CD player to the stereo aux inputs to play or practice along with your favorite tracks. Master Volume, Reverb, Ambience and Anti-Feedback round out the extensive feature set.

Looper

With the built-in looper on the AC-33 you can record and loop your own chord progressions or vocals, as well as audio fed in via the aux inputs, and layer them. Loops up to 40 seconds long with effectively endless overdubs are possible.
