Engaging Recorder Method in a Well-Structured Didactic Format - Recommended by Teachers!
My Fun Recorder was specially designed for preschool and early elementary children. Through spoken and clapped syllables and graphically notated rhythms, children are gradually introduced to the very large black notes. Volume 1 is available in 2 versions: for recorders with German fingering and Baroque fingering.
The exercises and melodies come with fun, child-appropriate texts whose natural speech rhythms correspond to the note values. To help children who cannot yet read remember the short texts, all songs and exercises are accompanied by amusing illustrations by Reiner Stolte. Simple little drawing tasks make learning fun and support the process. Many practical aids for teachers and parents ease the work: methodological notes, tips for lesson planning, teaching certificates, parent letters, sheet music for copying, etc. My Fun Recorder book should be used as a supplement to Volume 1 and/or as a transition to Volume 2, as it contains many additional children's songs. It is also important for groups with children of varying speeds. It offers the possibility of individually tailoring "homework" for faster and slower students. This keeps all students motivated.
