The Standard Work for Recorder - Updated Edition!
Since the release of "Fun and Play with the Recorder" in 1990, this method has been a standard work for recorder lessons. After more than 20 years, it seemed sensible to update this proven recorder method by renewing photos and replacing and supplementing songs with more contemporary ones that better reflect the current reality of students.
Nevertheless, the authors consider it their duty and task to preserve traditional songs, so the new edition offers a mix of tried-and-true and new material.
The goal of the method remains a solid technical, musical, and wind-instrument education that on one hand enables a joyful early instrumental approach to the recorder, but on the other hand does not block the path to artistic recorder playing but prepares it meaningfully.
